Come, bring a friend to paint in acrylic on a 12 x 16" canvas. No previous art experience needed. All materials are included. You will be taught step by step to paint your masterpiece. Canvases will have a pencil sketch of the painting, and we will paint together. You are free to interpret the painting in your style and color.

Fuse Ensemble Performs at Artspace

Fuse Ensemble’s concert season Speech and Silence for 2024/2025 includes recent chamber works by Caroline Shaw, Brittany J. Green, Pamela Z, and Gina Biver, and a brand-new work for solo bass by bassist/composer Ethan Foote. The season also includes new video works by new media artist Edgar Endress, and the poetry of Colette Inez. Fuse Ensemble's very special guests include three Richmond artists: bass clarinetist JC Kuhl, and vocalists Ashley Larson and Laura Ann Singh. Opening group will be School Work, with Laura Ann Singh, Jc Kuhl, John Lilley, Bob Miller, Adam Hopkins, Scott Clark!

All materials provided. Bring your curiosity and willingness to explore within. Like fall, we can let go and make room for the seeds of the next season. In a safe space, we listen to and express what is trying to emerge within.

We have a very special OOYH Records Second Mondays planned for September 9, featuring two guest performers from out of town, drummer Tim Daisy from Chicago, and multi-reeds player John Dierker from Baltimore. For fans of jazz and improvised music in Richmond (and beyond) this event is can't miss! Tim and Scott Clark will each present short sets for solo drum set, then the four musicians will perform as a first time quartet.
